COMPANY INFORMATION
1) Review job keys/job description/short term company problems
2) Visit a store to understand concept, or visit specific location.
3) If possible, review client WEBSITE
INTERVIEW INFORMATION
- 1. Review the Interviewer’s name, title and interviewing style
- 2. Discuss Interview procedure and expectations.
- • Arrive 10 to 15 minutes early.
• Call interviewer(s) by their first name.
• Make good, not constant eye contact.
• Be “up” and enthusiastic.
• Know your resume. Don’t read from it.
• Cite specific examples from your career that will benefit the company.
• Ask your questions.
• If interested, get yourself a second interview scheduled.
• Do not discuss money, benefits or any matters of convenience.
3) Make list of questions:
- • How can I have an immediate impact?
- • I want to ride your coattails, where are you going?
- • Where will the company be in five years?
- • What are your expectations for the candidate you hire?
- • How do you measure performance?
- • How do I move up?
Money question
• You can certainly say what you were making previously
• If they ask you “WHAT /HOW MUCH ARE YOU LOOKING FOR? “

DRESS
- 1) Men-Wear a dark, conservative suit (depending on client). White shirt, conservative tie.
Woman- Female blouses and jewelry should reflect conservative style.
- 2) Bring resume and light brief or portfolio.
3) Never carry a cell phone or pager with you into an interview.
FOLLOW UP
1) Go home and write a short, 3 paragraph note of thanks.
2) Call me back & tell me what you are feeling: the good, the bad, & the ugly.
