Antonio Murry
Born in Chicago where his love of food really started to take shape. As with most chefs, his relationship with food started with his mother and grandmothers in the kitchen. Antonio was exposed to the wonders of roux and meringue at a very tender age. He and his mother would bond over PBS cooking shows like ‘The Frugal Gourmet’ and ‘The French Chef’. Antonio really started young, as his love for food matured once he took his first Family & Consumer Science class in middle school. He was most fortunate to participate in a high school culinary vocational class that primed him for culinary school.
Antonio attended culinary school at Joliet Junior College. After culinary school Antonio stayed in Illinois honing his technique and leadership skills at eateries such as Epiphany Farms Restaurant and Biaggi’s Ristorante Italiano before moving to Minneapolis in 2014. Before transitioning to EHS Recruiting Company Antonio held Sous Chef, Pastry Chef, and Executive Sous Chef positions at The Oceanaire Seafood Room, Chowgirls Killer Catering, and The Smack Shack Restaurant respectively. Most recently, he held the title of Executive Chef at the famed ‘The Lexington’ Restaurant in Saint Paul, Minnesota.
