Charmaine D’Angelo
Charmaine joined the US Army right out of high school and served her country for 2 years. When she returned home she attended The Culinary Institute of New England where she earned her Associate Degree in Culinary Arts. With a passion for hospitality, she continued her education and would earn her bachelor’s in Hospitality and Tourism Management from the University of the West Indies in Trinidad and Tobago, where she was born.
Charmaine started her career as a personal chef working with Wayne Huizenga as part of his traveling culinary team for 5 years. With her desire to travel Charmaine took her skills to the Caribbean, working as an F&B manager in various hotels, restaurants, and nightclubs throughout the islands.
Returning to Fort Lauderdale to be close to her family she took on a role as an event manager for the Seminole Tribe honing her skills in high volume event execution. Excelling in her position Charmaine was recruited by Texas de Brazil as an event manager driving sales and building relationships in 3 locations South Beach, Miami, and Fort Lauderdale. When Charmaine wanted to get back into operations, she contacted her favorite and most trusted recruiting company EHS Recruiting Company. Working with EHS Charmaine was placed as a manager for The Royal Pig Pub on Las Olas where she thrived in this high-volume, trendy concept.
Charmaine has a desire to train, coach, and share her knowledge about her love of hospitality with everyone she works with. Wanting to put that into action EHS recruiting was there again to guide her in the best way to accomplish that goal. Charmaine’s diverse background in hospitality together with her love of training, is the right recipe for bringing clients and candidates together to achieve success for both.
Charmaine loves spending her free time with her children, sitting on the beach, and traveling the world.

Two words: Kevin OlsonKevin was on his game from the email and phone call on day 1. Super easy going. After, unfortunately, the previous head hunter I worked for was having trouble finding me... anything for 2 months I ventured on my own. When Kevin called, I did tell him I had some interviews lined up and he was super cool about it. “Hey good luck and call and let me know how it goes.” Most recruiters just move on. Kevin emailed me in between interviews for updates.After those interviews didn’t pan out, I called Kevin and he already had a company to talk about. When we discussed the place, Kevin was able to level with me and let me know it may not be a good fit. I’ve worked with recruiters where they just try to get you a job so they can move on. It was awesome that the few conversations we had via email and phone that Kevin could sense it. So I followed hi advice and we moved on.Not even a few days later Kevin talked to me about City BBQ. He sent in my resume and had me available for a phone interview. The next day he called me to tell me they want to do in person and helped set that up. Kevin was able to communicate the feedback from City as Positive and I was offered the position.In the midst of this pandemic I lost my job in late April. The aforementioned mentioned recruiter couldn’t find anything for two months. With Kevin, he literally found me a job in a matter of weeks and that’s including the interim interviews I was doing before.Kevin’s positive message in a time where I was feeling discouraged with the pandemic was so motivational. He didn’t rush to find me any job. Kevin did the research based off my personality and background and found me a job that I’m culturally in sync with as well as a company that’s growing steadily and is going to survive these pandemic waves.Sorry to be so long winded but I had to do my best to do Kevin justice for the funk he got me out of. Kevin is laid back, down to earth, but driven to find a great job for his client and the follow up even after getting the job is amazing.I appreciate you Kevin. I haven’t been unemployed since 1995 as a kid in high school. So these 3 months were brutal and discouraging. Darnie was a true blessing for me. She gave me a new found confidence that i felt I’ve lost after being in the same position for so many years. “Sell yourself high” is the best thing she could’ve... told me. Amazing company and amazing recruiter. A tool that I didn't know I needed, had access to or that could do what they did for me. Hailey reached out to me for a job with one of her accounts. After... our first talk she became instrumental in actually finding me opportunities that I didn't even know were out there. She had a list of accounts looking to hire and which ones she felt I would be a good fit for. I was already talking to and interviewing for a few other companies and she never pressured me to go with one in her account. She help prepare me for interviews and it was like getting a scouting report on what I was going into for each interview. When I narrowed it down and one of the ones were not through her she still did not pressure or try to convince me to go with her account. Instead she talked through pro's and con's and in what I was looking for and would be best for my future. Sincerely cared about the fact that I was making a life changing decision. She worked and helped me even when she wasn't in the office. I believe she's a tremendous asset to EHS Recruiting and to anyone in the job market. Thank you EHS Recruiting and Hailey. I ended up finding a job with a company I never would have interviewed for or even heard about if it wasn't for her. She definitely made a very stressful process a lot less stressful.read more
