Deb Dziena
Deb is a native New Yorker, born and raised. She has been in the F&B and Hospitality industry for over 20 years in operations, leading teams in various multi-unit concepts domestically and internationally. While in New York, she spent several years with Rosa Mexicano Restaurants, where she led operations at the Union Square location, while extensively traveling for new openings during their years of expansion. She moved to Miami in 2008 to lead the Florida Region and Miami has been home ever since! After leaving Rosa in 2014, she spent a period of time in other areas of the F&B industry, including various consulting and business development projects, but her deep passion for the employee experience led her to join the HR, Global Talent Attraction team at Royal Caribbean Group in 2020. There she handled recruitment efforts for shipboard operations for Royal Caribbean International & Celebrity Cruises. As a trusted advisor, Deb is bringing her years of operations and leadership development experience into a career at EHS where she can continue to impact the lives of hospitality leaders around the world.
In Deb’s personal time, she is an active member, volunteer and part of the Scholarship Foundation committee of Women of the Vine and Spirits (WOTVS), where spaces are created to encourage women to actively change the conversation in the Hospitality & Beverage Alcohol Industry. In addition to furthering diversity, equity & inclusion as well as business development & innovation through awarded scholarships.
She is also a mentor with the GLEAM network, which is a non-profit, volunteer-based network whose mission is to provide mentorship and leadership development to restaurant and food service industry professionals.

So I recently spent two and a half years looking for my next employer. After tens of thousands of resumes sent out over indeed, linkedin, glassdoor, etc…nothing panned out. Usually with recruiters... and staffing firms, they give you attention until they look at the next resume. My experience with EHS was completely different. Not only did I not get the usual “hear from them once then never hear from them again” but they, specifically Kristin E., actually reached back out on at least 4 or 5 occasions with new opportunities that were interesting, appropriate and engaging. Unfortunately I did finally find a new job on my own, but my experience with EHS was that good that I needed to leave a review. He set me up with Margaritaville (which last year i applied and my recruiter lied to me and told me... they weren’t interested so I continued my search. Then i met kevin who made it happen. Omg talk about above and beyond. I was the runner up for a job I worked really hard for. Didn't make the cut . With some inspiration from the live saver himself. Thought it was all over and then the... phone rang . Like the inspire said . This was it my retry and we were ready. So the meeting was set . This time it was two positions on the line and se wanted one off them. The day was finally here , 30 minutes before i had to be there the phone rung again. Are you ready the inspire asked.
