Ian Hoxworth
Prior to joining EHS Recruiting, Ian worked in operations, sales, and management roles in varied industries throughout his career. He started his management career with Speedway/SuperAmerica as a Co-Manager, eventually working his way up to District Manager, overseeing up to 13 stores and their personnel in and around the Twin Cities.
While working as a Store and then District Manager, he attended the executive MBA program at Hamline University and obtained his master’s degree in 2015 with a concentration in marketing. Ian also received the District Manager of the Year award at SuperAmerica in 2015 for leading his team to top performance across various metrics, including turnover and financial performance.
After SuperAmerica’s fourth change of ownership during his ten-year tenure, Ian decided to transition into property management. He worked with FirstService Residential, managing homeowner’s associations (HOAs). There, he managed condo buildings, including their financials and maintenance schedules, for five years.
Ian’s partner, Lauren, was recruiting for EHS during some of those final years at FirstService, and they decided to invest in their own office with the company in 2023, along with another partner, Vanessa.
Ian has interests in marketing, social media, and networking. He takes an active role in business development, marketing, and administrative duties for the EHS Recruiting Southern California office. He enjoys applying his experience and skills in the hospitality industry and is passionate about building collaborative relationships with clients and partners.
In his spare time, Ian is a bit of a foodie and enjoys exploring the plant-based food, whether in their territory in Southern California, or where travels take him.
