Bill Shannon
Bill has over 35 years of hospitality experience in corporate chain, entrepreneurial, and franchise business models all over the United States. He began his management career with Steak & Ale quickly achieving a GM role and then joined upstart Bennigan’s rising from GM to Area Associate in Dallas, Houston, Chicago and opening the Michigan market. Bill advanced to Director of Operations for Warner Communications Leisure Division opening restaurants throughout the U.S. and was then part of a leadership team taking a division of S&A private. Bill’s next challenge was revitalizing and operating an independent top sales waterfront extravaganza with dining, banquets, bars, decks, docks and live entertainment. Bill and his partners bought a Hooters franchise and opened restaurants across the south and with the sale the franchise, Bill joined Longhorn Steaks as a Joint Venture Partner in Kentucky and Ohio.
Bill has spent the last several years operating one of the busiest Restaurant / Retail operations in the world at the Rainforest Café in Walt Disney World.
Over his career, Bill has successfully established a network of key players and decision makers in the hospitality industry. He has successfully hired hundreds of General Managers, Executive Chefs, FOH/HOH managers, Sous Chefs, Sales Managers, and Multiunit Supervisors.
