Chris was born in Houston, Texas, and raised in New York working summers as an under-the-table bike delivery and pizza boy at 12 on Fire Island, New York. Chris worked his way through the hospitality industry FOH and BOH and went through the Manager in Training program for Jean-Georges eventually making his way to General Manager at 21. Chris’ experience is focused on new store openings, staff hiring, and training opening restaurants for Jean-Georges for 10 years and True Food Kitchen for 4.
Chris moved to South Florida in 2017 after working in and around NYC for Jean-Georges for over ten years opening restaurants and working his way through management training programs, to begin managing and opening/training for new stores with True Food Kitchen. Opening restaurants let Chris see the country, contributing to openings in 5 different states and 9 different projects in 4 years.
After the birth of his first child Chris returned to management positions opening food halls, hotels, restaurants, and grocery stores in South Florida but after his second child, has decided to focus more time on family and switch to the recruiting side of the hospitality industry. Utilizing his 20+ years of experience in the restaurant and hospitality industry and focusing on hiring the right person for the job the first time, Chris is sure to find you the perfect match for the next step in your aspiring career.
Chris lives in Florida with his wife and two boys and enjoys surfing, good food, and spending time with his kids.
