Dylan’s story is one of unexpected growth. Growing up shy and timid in the small town of Courtland, Minnesota, he began his service industry career at McDonald’s once he turned 14. There, he quickly began accepting promotions, before ending up leading the cook line at the local sports bar kitchen, until he left for secondary schooling at 18. It is here, at North Dakota State University, in Fargo, North Dakota, that he began to bloom. Studying and obtaining his undergraduate degree’s in Psychology and Neuroscience, he used his new knowledge and passion to develop friendships, and to introduce himself to as many new people as he could. Becoming Vice President of the school’s Unicycle and Juggling club would only help to pique everyone’s interest as to who he was. Since then, he has always loved and embraced every new person he’s gotten the opportunity to meet. In this time, he furthered his industry experience taking promotions at Olive Garden, before landing at Rhombus Guys. Here, he really started to develop confidence in his industry. They gave him the opportunity to expand on and adjust what he already knew, and start developing new talents and knowledge, excitedly in horticulture while developing and maintaining the rooftop garden. This experience led him to his new opportunities once moving to Minneapolis, Minnesota. Quickly, he found himself dual supervising and managing at both Pryes Brewing Company and Royal Foundry Craft Spirits, before accepting the Manager of Operations role at Royal Foundry. Using these roles, and his undying passion for craft breweries, he quickly became acquainted with his brand new city, and the people in it, continuing to develop scores of connections wherever he found himself that day. He is someone that knows people, knows the industry, and loves becoming close to both while he connects them and their stories. He will always listen and get to know anyone he meets, because at his core, that is who he is.
