After graduating from the University of San Diego with a double major in Communications and Psychology, Kristin found herself placing Chefs and Restaurant Management students graduating from the San Francisco’s California Culinary Academy. She eventually managed the Career Services, Externship and Alumni Relations Department for the entire school. Over the years, she has had the pleasure to be a guest lecturer at Napa Valley Junior College and Purdue University.
Connections from the CCA recruited her away from California and moved her to Chicago where she closed and reopened Michigan Avenue’s famous Allerton Hotel. As the Director of Human Resources, she placed 300 associates and rehired 225 post-renovation. Kristin also earned the role of Regional Management Trainer for the corporate offices of Bristol Hotels & Resorts.
After successfully completing that challenge, Kristin became a Regional Recruiter for The Cheesecake Factory Restaurants, Inc. She staffed over 10 new restaurants and maintained staffing levels for the Midwest region. While with The Cheesecake Factory, she set many of the management recruiting records including most hires per month, lowest cost per hire and lowest turnover rates.
Since The Cheesecake Factory, she has done contract work with Martin-Gilanfar Assoc. Inc., doing restaurant recruiting, and assisting with the creative development of Twisted Tortilla Fresh Mex Grill in Dallas, TX. Most recently, Kristin served as Task Force recruiter for Carlson Rezidor Group’s Radisson Blu division where she was instrumental in opening the flagship United States locations in Chicago and Bloomington, MN. She assisted in hiring over 1000 candidates for the two hotels.
Kristin’s passion is recruiting and helping people with their careers in the hospitality world. With almost 20 years of hospitality recruiting experience, she is ready to assist clients and candidates for the EHS Hospitality Group.
