Lauren was born in St. Paul, MN, and began working in restaurants at the young age of 17, when she joined the team at Buca di Beppo. She worked at the well-known restaurant in multiple support roles before moving to Scottsdale, AZ, in her early 20s for a change of scenery.
In Scottsdale, Lauren recruited for a technical company by day, and served and bartended at a mom-and-pop Italian shop by night. She grew to love the company, the guests, and the rhythm of restaurant life. Her hard work and enthusiasm for the industry quickly led to promotions to Bar Manager and then Assistant General Manager.
Years later, after a change of ownership, Lauren moved on to Front-of-House Manager opportunity at a larger, renowned Scottsdale wine cafe, Postino.
COVID’s toll on the restaurant industry – combined with her desire to be close to family again – led Lauren to move back to the Twin Cities in mid-2020. As she re-established herself locally, she was fortunate to work with a local company as a Restaurant Manager, before deciding to parlay her rich restaurant experience into an award winning hospitality recruiting role with EHS and earning multiple awards in her first year including Rookie of the Year and positioning herself already as one of the top recruiters in the industry.
In her spare time, Lauren loves to spend time with her family and partner, play with her cat, Frenchie, and keep her bar skills sharpened by continuing to create cocktails for friends/family gatherings.
