Michelle Poole
Michelle’s passion for the hospitality industry was sparked at an early age and led her to the restaurant & hospitality management program at the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana. After graduation, Michelle launched her career at the Hilton Chicago, one of Chicago’s premier convention hotels, where she held leadership positions in both food & beverage operations and catering sales. Michelle took a break from hotels to take on the formidable role as Director of Catering Sales for McCormick Place Convention Center in Chicago. At McCormick Place, Michelle was part of the opening team for the West building expansion in 2007, making McCormick Place the largest convention center in the US, with 2.6 million sq feet of exhibit space. In her most recent role as Account Director at ACCESS Chicago, Michelle utilized her local expertise to design and execute memorable experiences for corporate and meeting clients.
Throughout her career, one of Michelle’s favorite aspects of the hospitality industry is the relationships she has formed along the way.
