Our Team

Steve’s career began with Embassy Suites Hotels in Minnesota, where he spent seven years learning almost all operational functions of the business, from housekeeping to front desk, audit to management. Much of this time while earning a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin – Stout. From there, he transitioned into the full-service restaurant industry where he spent seventeen years as a general manager for various restaurants within the Twin Cities, then four years as a Director of Operations for a Famous Dave’s franchise.

In 2013, Steve was offered an opportunity to join a national food delivery service by launching his own market within the Minneapolis/St.Paul area. His success contributed to the company’s acquisition by Grubhub where he spent the next ten years managing numerous segments of business operations.

This summer (2026), Steve joined EHS – Minneapolis, fulfilling his dream of becoming a recruiter. Steve has always maintained a passion for coaching and mentoring team members with their career development goals and plans to leverage these skills to support EHS’ goal of helping place top candidates with industry-leading companies.

Outside of work, Steve enjoys spending time with his wife and three girls, dining out at many of the great local restaurants, hiking, biking, and playing an occasional round of golf.
