Growing up in the Milwaukee area, Sue found her love of cooking and hosting through her father. Nobody could throw a dinner party like him. Once in high school, she got her first restaurant job bussing tables at Pandl’s in Bayside and she never looked back. Sue received her Bachelor of Science in Hospitality & Tourism Management from the University of Wisconsin Stout.
Right after graduation from UW Stout, Sue was hired by Ruby Tuesday for their management training program in the suburbs of Chicago, eventually transferring to the Mall of America and finding a new home in the Twin Cities. After a few years of learning the tools and systems of a corporate company, it was time to change it up. For the next 20+ years, she worked as a bar manager, General manager, and director of training for the likes of Sidney’s, Ciao Bella, Zelo and Bacio.
After years of operations, an opportunity to work for US Foods as a Territory manager came up. This experience gave her the chance to really get the feel for the restaurant landscape throughout the twin cities.
Working hard to help connect candidates with the right opportunity drives Sue. In her downtime, she enjoys entertaining friends and family, teaching her daughter how to get around in the kitchen, and working in the yard and around the house.
