Valerie Cintron
Valerie was born on the sunny island of Puerto Rico (the land of Bad Bunny!). She started her interest in the hospitality industry back in high school where she took Tourism Marketing classes and then went on to college for a degree in Hotel Management. Got her first job at 19 y/o as a server/bartender for a mid-size authentic Puerto Rican restaurant. A year later she moved to another city and got the opportunity to work for a fine dining restaurant in San Juan, PR.
Fast forward to 2019, she is working full-time as a Night Auditor for a vacation club and part-time as a Night auditor too for a small boutique hotel in the historic district of Old San Juan. Then, she was offered the Front Desk Supervisor position for the boutique hotel (same owners of the vacation club) and then quickly promoted to Assistant Hotel Manager. Covid hit and after 8 months of surviving, the hotel was shut down.
Maternity leave started at the same time employees got laid off, so she took some time off. At the end of 2021, she got the opportunity to recruit for a major staffing firm. In November 2022, she discovered EHS where she could combine both of her passions, hospitality and recruiting. Valerie’s industry experience and passion for serving people play huge roles in her success as a recruiter. She likes to enjoy quality time with her family and traveling as much as she can.
