Vanessa Coates
Vanessa fell in love with the service industry at 14 years old, while working at a 50’s-style diner wearing poodle skirts and ribbons in her hair. She has over 20 years of experience in restaurant operations that range from full-service, live music venues, fine dining, and happy-hour restaurants.
After spending the majority of her career in some amazing Minneapolis concepts (including Spill the Wine, Aura Bar and Restaurant, The Lumber Exchange Event Center, and Masu), Vanessa’s love for providing great service and learning the science behind the full guest experience catapulted her into running a growing, elegant event venue as their General Manager.
EHS came into her world and it was an opportunity that was meant to be. She was ready for the transition from working “in” the service industry to working “for” the service industry.
Vanessa’s industry experience and passion for helping people with personal and professional development play huge roles in her success as a recruiter. She has taken part in several Tony Robbins programs such as UPW, Date with Destiny, Business Mastery, and UHPW - all of which taught her the importance of communication and listening.
Vanessa makes it a priority to communicate effectively with her clients and candidates in order to find the right match for their personal career goals.
